Rice forms collaboration with Chinese university

Rice University President David Leebron signed a research partnership with China's Zhejiang University Thursday to establish an International Collaborative Center on Quantum Matter. The collaboration is another step forward for Leebron's "Vision for the Second Century," which includes extending Rice's international reach and impact.

Rice students head to India for summer mentorship

Four Rice students have embarked on a six-week program that promises to equip them for leadership in their classrooms and careers. As part of Leadership Rice’s Summer Mentorship Experience, the students are traveling to Pune, India, where two will work in a hospital and two will work at Virgo Engineers.
